Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, providing accurate information, using the platform in compliance with all applicable laws, and respecting the intellectual property rights of LegalMeet and its users.
Lawyers registered on LegalMeet must maintain valid bar registration, provide accurate information about their qualifications and experience, honor confirmed appointments, and provide professional legal services in accordance with Sri Lankan legal standards.
Appointments can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Late cancellations may be subject to fees. Lawyers must accept or reject appointment requests within 48 hours.
LegalMeet is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. All communications between users and lawyers are confidential and protected.
Consultation fees are set by individual lawyers. Payment must be completed before the scheduled appointment. LegalMeet charges a service fee on all transactions. Refunds are available in accordance with our refund policy.
LegalMeet is a platform connecting users with lawyers. We do not provide legal advice ourselves. The quality and outcome of legal services are the responsibility of individual lawyers. LegalMeet is not liable for any disputes between users and lawyers.
LegalMeet reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
